On the Road

The one thing that keeps my job interesting is without a doubt the travel, which for me means driving. Lots of driving. I average about 50,000 miles a year behind the wheel. Unfortunately, that can also get a little boring and borderline lonely. I find myself relying on the people I meet and the things I see to keep it interesting. Sometimes, it can be something as simple as this sign in a small town I recently drove through last month. It made me chuckle, which I am sure was the store owner's goal!

  1. Joe,

I drive 50k miles a year as well, some of my favorite signs have been in front of churches.

It's the small things that help the miles pass quickly..

  3. Small town signs are great sometimes, that's one of the better ones.
