Pointed Home

Today was not nearly as exciting as the comeback on Beaver Lake yesterday, but it still started very early. I left Rogers, Arkansas and pointed my rig toward Ohio at 5:15 a.m.!  It took a hard 11 hours and 45 minutes of driving, much of it in pouring rain to reach my home in Milford.

I had to push hard to make it home in time to help my son, Ryan, with a video project he had booked this evening. Driving is definitely a big part of doing what I do and I've always been able to make those long forced marches without any problem. By the way, the drive is definitely a lot easier after a money finish!

  1. Loving the blog! I always think the pros have it easy, but a 12 hour drive in rain sounds like my boring desk job. :)

Keep up the good work. By the way, good product placement, I'm respooling with trilene before the season starts.

  3. Thanks for the feedback, wasilvers. Driving is definitely not the fun part of this job!
